Kristoffer Eikrem & Beautiful Disco - Dusk / Dawn (Cassette)

Kristoffer Eikrem & Beautiful Disco met in the most millennial way possible, through the internet! After listening to each others music for a while and sending messages forth and back on the gram, they decided that they wanted to collaborate on some beats. Some beats turned in to a lot of beats, and all of a sudden they had enough material to put together an album. «Dusk / Dawn» is the name of their collaborative effort, and it houses features such as the Norwegian MC Vuyo, Mutual Intentions-signee Zee and the South Korean up and coming singer DAHEE. The album provides a good mix of jazzy beats and soulful vocals blended together in a soothing soundscape.

«Beautiful Disco & Kristoffer Eikrem is a prime example of a modern collaboration in the internet age. It was through common interests and a bit of coincidence that we got in touch and I was immediately excited about Janggyu's (Beautiful Disco) aesthetic, harmonic and melodic sense. Although we have never met in real life, we have developed a good friendship and I am proud to be able to call him “kompis” [“buddy” in Norwegian]».
